Autorenporträt
J. Kent Thompson has a love of Florida history. His works mainly focus on North Florida, an area many are just beginning to discover. His works include two books about the Forgotten Coast relating its history and stories about living and working with the people there. Another book takes the reader on a journey of North Florida roads and the stories they contain. His fiction series, the six book Marine Patrol Tales, tell of the adventures of local marine law enforcement officers as they deal with smugglers, terrorists, and shady preachers, all set on the North Florida coast. Tallahassee Chronicles is his second book about Tallahassee 's history.
