James Theros was born in Indianapolis, Indiana in February of 1969. He is the oldest of 3 siblings and has 4 kids of his own. He got started in martial arts at the age of 7 at an after school program and fell in love with the training and immediately knew that it would become his career. He opened Level 10 Martial Arts College in the summer of 1995 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He and his wife, Debi moved to Florida in 2017 with their award winning martial arts program. James has worked with thousands of students from ages 3 through 85, teaching them martial arts, leadership, and success principles. His students say that the training he offers has changed their lives for the better and he frequently has former students reach out to thank him for the impact his program has had on them. James and Debi Theros are favorites with school teachers and principals, alike, because of the work that they've done in the local school systems to help bring more respect, focus and discipline into the school's classrooms. They are frequently invited to speak to students and faculty members on a variety of topics. James enjoys story-telling and creative writing. He also hosts a weekly podcast that can be found on iTunes, and writes regularly for magazines.
