Jordi Sierra i Fabra is a Spanish author of more than 300 books for adults and children who has been awarded the Spanish National Prize for Children's and Young Adult Literature and the Cervantes Chico prize for his work and contribution to the field of literature, among others. He is the founder of the Jordi Sierra i Fabra Foundation, which seeks to help adolescents in Barcelona and Medellin, Colombia, who wish to become writers. Fernando Vicente is an award-winning illustrator and a frequent contributor to Babelia, the cultural supplement of the Spanish newspaper El País. He is the illustrator of El extraño caso del Doctor Jekyll y Mr. Hyde, El manifiesto comunista, La saga de Eirík el Rojo, and El valle del miedo.
