Among different modern approaches, TBLT has always been at the center of attention of researchers and language teachers since the most important feature of task-based framework is that it moves learners from fluency to accuracy in production of target structures. The present study was conducted to confirm the contribution of task-oriented activities to improve EFL reading skill. In doing so, Task-based reading as an unfocused pedagogic task that aims to encourage the comprehension and production of language for purposes of communication, was selected and practiced.
