Stop thinking in little boxes - for a better way of collaboration!
The corporate world has changed considerably but one thing has always remained the same, namely the organization chart, i.e. the neat depiction of the organization as a hierarchy of little boxes. All too often this prevents flexible collaboration without which no-one can successfully compete today. The solution? Blow up the organization chart!
Heinz-Walter Große, former Board Chairman of B. Braun Melsungen AG, and Bernadette Tillmanns-Estorf, Senior Vice President Corporate Communications and Corporate Human Resources of the same company, have realized this. Their book provides you with the explosive to use against the old, rigid form of work: Tasks & Teams. This is a new and proven method that B. Braun uses to organize collaboration in a new, improved way. Heinz-Walter Große and Bernadette Tillmanns-Estorf give a comprehensive and vivid account of its practical implementation. They explain why and how this method has been developed and introduced at B. Braun.Every company can make its form of organization more effective by means of the new formula for better collaboration: Tasks & Teams
Autorenporträt
Große, Heinz-Walter Dr.
Heinz-Walter Große has a doctorate in management science. He has been chairman of the global medical engineering and pharmaceutical company B. Braun Melsungen AG since 2001. In more than 40 years with the company, he has seen many organization charts. Even during his tenure as Chief Financial Officer, he wondered at the fast pace at which new divisions with additional employees emerge. He is sure that thinking in terms of organization charts impedes collaboration and causes an uncontrolled increase in staff numbers. This he wants to change by means of Tasks & Teams. He believes that a change of mind is possible. Bernadette Tillmanns-Estorf has a doctorate in political science and Romance studies. For six years, she held various positions for the German parliament before she joined B. Braun in 1996 where she heads the Corporate Communi cations and Corporate Human Resources divisions. In this double role, team-oriented leadership, effective communication

and motivated, self-dependent employees are a matter near to her heart. In her divisions, she therefore has been working according to the principles of Tasks & Teams across the borders of silos and little boxes since 2017, and continually advances this approach.
