This book is a collection of short stories of the beautiful people of Nigeria. There are stories about love, betrayer, crime and investigation, mystery, thriller and more. There are ten stories in this book and they range from typical Yoruba, Nigerian village stories and city stories. The first story is a village tale titled 'Tomorrow' and it is the tale of a princess, Jolaade, fleeing after the deaths of her parents. She was however caught by Baoku, a young man, whose parents had offended and she had to face trials. Her fate was in the hands of the people her parents had wronged. The last story is a city story titled 'Grace Haunts' and it is the suspenseful thriller of a woman, Kunmi, whose uncles forced into killing her lover, Grace, whom she loved dearly. However, Grace promised to haunt her and take everything away from her. As promised, Grace began to haunt her and she was not at peace. Grace started by taking away her parents and continued with her siblings. The culprits seemed to be at peace till the end of the story. In between the two stories discussed here are eight captivating stories of love and life situations of some Nigerians, especially the Yoruba tribe.
