Autorenporträt
Gwen Gunn was born and grew up in Dayton, Ohio. She attended Duke University and graduated from Antioch College in 1960. After moving to New York, she married Moses Gunn, worked in child development research, and earned an M.A. from The New School for Social Research in 1970. Gwen wrote and produced plays with the Westbeth Playwrights Feminist Collective until moving to Guilford, Connecticut, with her late husband and two children in 1975. Gwen has had poems published in national and international journals. She has participated in poetry readings in Connecticut and New York City, and with her partner Norman Marshall performs "Poetry's Greatest Hits." Gwen is a member of the Guilford Poets Guild and the Connecticut River Poets and is thankful for their critiques and encouragement. She recently won two firsts in the Confederation of State Poetry Societies contests, one of which was the national Winners Circle Award.
