Joya Georgiafay Nelson-Kezas is forever young at heart. Born on the island of Bermuda, Joya became an American citizen when she joined the US Air Force. She earned two degrees: a BS and an MS in social work. She retired from a career in social work, commercial business management, and accounting. In her own words, Joya would like readers to know: I have two sons who have given me many grandchildren and great-grandchildren between the two of them. I live in San Diego, California. I am an active member of the Baha'i faith worldwide community.My hobbies include writing, swimming, teaching children, singing, and listening to jazz. I volunteer in the community and am currently a member of the Interfaith Shelter Network. I have performed volunteer work in a hospice and a free health clinic.I have published poetry and children's books.
