Calomyscus is one of the most controversial species of rodents which its species numbers have been changed over the years. Its distribution area was extended to Europe whereas nowadays is confined to the west of Asia. Calomyscus is one of the most controversial species of rodents which its species numbers have been changed over the years. We identified and presented some morphometric and geometric-morphometric characters along with cytotype features for Calomyscus species. Two mitochondrial genes also were sequenced and submitted in Genbank in this genus.
