Paul Taylor QC is a barrister at Doughty Street Chambers specialising in criminal appeals. He has represented appellants before the Court of Appeal (Criminal Division), Judicial Committee of the Privy Council, Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court, and the Court of Appeal of Trinidad and Tobago. He has extensive experience in drafting submissions to the Criminal Cases Review Commission. Paul is Head of the Doughty Street Chambers Appeal Unit and editor of the Appeals Unit Bulletin. He has lectured regularly on appellate topics to lawyers in England, Northern Ireland, and the Caribbean. Paul was appointed a Recorder in 2019.
