The study of chemical reactions is focused on the process of identifying and classifying reactions. In this sense, the process to obtain such knowledge is one of the most complex for many Brazilian high school students, because the way the contents are taught directly impacts the teaching and learning of the student. Thus, the use of teaching resources in order to contextualize the teaching to everyday life presents itself as a way to help in the understanding of the subjects taught in the classroom. Thus, in this paper we conducted a bibliographic survey on the main topics that most influence the educational context, analyzing the main features that can be developed to increase the performance of students.
