Jan de Kinder is a Belgian author and illustrator. He has been illustrating children's books for various publishers since 1988. In 2002, he made his debut as a writer with Mathilde and Un niño jugando al escondite con el viento. He also leads conferences and workshops at schools and libraries throughout Flanders and the Netherlands. He has illustrated more than 40 books.
