She is the New York Times bestselling author of How Stella Learned to Talk, and her work has been featured in National Geographic, Forbes, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and more. She is the founder and CEO of Hunger for Words, a pet communication company focused on bringing her revolutionary knowledge and products to the public. She lives with her husband, Jake, and her dog, Stella.
