Teacher is a priesthood office in the Aaronic priesthood of denominations within the Latter Day Saint movement, including The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Young men who reach the age of 14 are integrated into the Teachers Quorum. Those who are found worthy by their bishop (in an interview) are ordained in a similar manner as Deacons, except that the Aaronic Priesthood is not conferred upon them again if they have already received it as a Deacon. A Priest or a holder of the Melchizedek Priesthood may ordain a person to the office of Teacher.
