This book looks at the influence of teaching practices on the acquisition of health education (HE) skills through physical and sports education (PSE) in Burkina Faso. It looks at how emerging themes are put into practice. The research focuses on the acquisition of skills in post-primary PE. The sessions were the places where we collected our data at the end of the 2nd quarter of 2021. The exploratory survey enabled us to take stock of teachers' and pupils' knowledge, identify difficulties and seek solutions to improve the teaching/learning of PE through PE. The results show that some pupils lack knowledge in the areas of civic and moral education, health - hygiene - sanitation, and road safety. The teachers mentioned a feeling of pedagogical incompetence in PE, the unavailability of materials and teaching and/or learning documents. The aim was to understand the influence of teaching practices in order to suggest actions and modes of intervention to improve the skills of teachers and pupils.
