Against the backdrop of a historical debate between science and philosophy with regard to the nature of time, this book argues that our commonsense understanding of time is inadequate-especially for education. Kaustuv Roy is Professor in the College of Education at Azim Premji University, India. Previously, he was faculty at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, USA. His recent books include Rethinking Curriculum in Times of Shifting Educational Context (2018) and Education and the Ontological Question: Addressing a Missing Dimension (2019), both published by Palgrave Macmillan.
