Study shows that there was a significant difference between student discipline scores of those who hold a bachelor degree and those who hold a under degree, which may imply that teachers holding advanced academic degrees tend to have a more open view of student discipline. Linear regression analyse was also used to infer the predictive power of demographic variables for teachers'' beliefs, and the result showed that the number of years teaching and highest educational attainment both have predictive power in teachers'' beliefs.
