The findings of this study ought to help teachers to recognize the existence of stress, its sources, symptoms and effects such that they would develop effective coping strategies to manage stress.A self -designed questionnaire for teachers was used for data collection.The descriptive statistics was used in the analysis of the data.The study findings found that,the length of the syllabus,excessive teaching load high class sizes and the unavailability of the counseling services to staff caused high levels of stress to teachers.
