This work aims to reflect on the didactic resources applied in teaching and the educational software applied in vocational education and with the support of informatics. The software Electroautos is a tool developed for teaching electricity specifically in automotive electrical circuits, with the pedagogical principles that defined the aspects of its functional architecture. Considering that this educational tool was used, preferentially, in professionalizing courses in the learning and qualification modality, the program was submitted to the curricular parameters of the current Brazilian professional education, the scenario resulting from the use of new educational technologies, based on the use of the computer, its implications in the teaching-learning process and the new precepts of the Brazilian professional education reform is analyzed.The results show that the software presented a satisfactory evaluation, regarding the pedagogical criteria.
