Patricia van den Akker is the director of The Design Trust, an online business school for designers, makers and other creatives, and has been a creative business adviser, trainer and coach for over 25 years. She was elected Number One Business Adviser for Branding & Design by Enterprise Nation in 2018, and Number One Business Adviser in Sales in 2019. Patricia teaches at the Royal College of Art, University of the Arts London and Central Saint Martins, and has worked with creative organisations including Etsy, Folksy, Made London, Top Drawer, Cockpit Arts and Space London. For 5 years she wrote the business agony aunt column The Design Doctor for Crafts Magazine.
