The present study looks for finding the way in which the use of rhythmic elements in an English class of 30 five-year-old boys can help to motivate these children as well as enhance their vocabulary acquisition. L'auteur est titulaire d'une licence en enseignement de l'anglais de l'Universidad del Azuay, d'une maîtrise en langue anglaise et en linguistique appliquée de l'Universidad de Cuenca, toutes deux en Équateur. Elle est titulaire d'un doctorat en éducation de l'Universidad Nacional de la Plata à La Plata, en Argentine.
