The purpose of this research was to build a Didactic Proposal for the Teaching of Physics, under the STS approach, which allows the achievement of significant learning in children in the second stage of Basic Education. The construction of the proposal was made possible through a research-action process. The analysis of the existing literature allowed establishing theoretical foundations and current trends that support the teaching of physics. In the research, a combination of study methods framed in experimental activities was used, based on a qualitative approach and field work. The sample was constituted with students of Integral Education of section 003 whose ages oscillate between 23 and 39 years old. The results are presented in three phases, PHASE I: Documentary: the analysis of the existing literature allowed relating the Current Trends in Physics Teaching with the STS approach, PHASE II Design and Implementation: the results of the planned and implemented activities are presented and analyzed, and PHASE III Assessment of Learning.
