This textbook turns to a pedagogic component that seems to have received very little attention in the Cameroonian and African context, but which is very consequential on the general teaching/learning outcome: TESTING. It opens up this new horizon and, naturally, paves the way into further research on language testing in English in Cameroon and, more widely, in Africa. The chapters mainly describe testing practices in English with French-speaking university learners, recording the challenges thereof on the one hand, and proposing solutions on the other hand.
