In this work, we have carried out a comparative study between the contribution of the action-oriented approach, representing the essence of the CEFR, and the conception of the teaching-learning of the French language in the qualifying secondary cycle in Morocco. In the light of the conclusions reached in our study, we devised two sequential projects, reconciling the strengths of the two approaches in two different contexts.
