Timothy Hetland of Washington State University is an instructor, grad student, and coauthor of an upcoming Bedford professional resource on teaching literature with media. Hetland writes for Bedfords LitBits, where he blogs about teaching literature in general and fiction in particular. He is currently working on a dissertation that examines the parallel development of the contemporary horror film genre and molecular biology. When completed, his Ph.D. will be in contemporary English literature and film.
