The students of the Mathematics Teaching Career of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences of the National University of Mar del Plata, had to take Teaching Practices II of Mathematics in the second quarter of the year 2020, in an environment of total virtuality, without having the possibility of having a minimum percentage of face-to-face classes. As teachers in charge of the Internship subjects, we had to quickly create a schedule of activities so that our students could carry out their "teaching residencies". We thought that doing it at the Institution itself would result in a better use of resources. For this purpose, we chose the subject: "Introduction to Mathematics", which together with the workshop "Reading and Thinking about Science", are requirements to be passed by all the students who are admitted to all the careers in our faculty. In this paper we present the experiences of the students of Teaching Practices in the residency carried out in the subject: "Introduction to Mathematics" (IAM). Aspects are highlighted from the starting situation, through developments, conclusions, criticisms, self-criticism, feelings and comments.
