This work attempts to clarify the role that Congolese oral heritage can play in the learning of French as a second and foreign language. The exercise on the didactisation of the riddle in the learning of the essay seems to confirm the hypothesis that the skills acquired in the local language can be transposed into the second language, since the essay is an exercise in reflection, and the riddle meets the same criterion.
