Oyesigye Robert Stuart was born in Rukandagye village,Mbarara District of Uganda. He developed interest in teaching learners with special abilities while he was training as a teacher at Bishop Stuart College. He founded a school for learners with intellectual impairments,worked as an Inspector of schools. He is a lecturer at Kyambogo University.
