Team Tiger Awesome is a Los Angeles-based sketch comedy group formed in 2006 by Clint Gage, Nick Mundy and Michael Truly. The popularity of their Channel 102 series "28 Day Slater," a parody of Mario Lopez's "Saved By the Bell" character A.C. Slater, led paying gigs creating content for Atom.com, Atom TV, the now-defunct SuperDeluxe.com and Fox Reality Channel. The groups signature style includes references to pop-cultural and historical minutiae. In addition to their own TV and web appearances, a parody commercial by the group appeared on an episode of Maury. featuring Tiffany Pollard of "Flavor of Love" and "I Love New York" and the Team Tiger Awesome logo was seen in the November 2009 issue of DC Comics' Batgirl, written by the group's friend Bryan Q. Miller.
