Autorenporträt
Miguel De La Torre is and international scholar activist, documentarian, novelist, and academic author. He presently serves as Professor of Social Ethics and Latinx Studies at the Iliff School of Theology in Denver. A Fulbright scholar, he has taught in Indonesia, Mexico, South Africa, Germany; and lectured in Costa Rica, Cuba, Palestine, Thailand, and Taiwan. He is the author of many Orbis books, including Reading the Bible from the Margins, Introducing Liberative Theologies, and Doing Christian Ethics from the Margins. Mitri Raheb is the founder and president of Dar al-Kalima University in Bethlehem. The most widely published Palestinian theologian to date, Dr. Raheb is the author of 20 books in eleven languages, including the Orbis books Faith in the Face of Empire: The Bible through Palestinian Eyes, The Cross in Contexts: Suffering and Redemption in Palestine, and Decolonizing Palestine: The Land, The People, The Bible. A social entrepreneur, Dr. Raheb's work has received wide media attention and numerous international awards.
