K. Pearson Bradley is an author of historical fiction who loves to read adventure books, especially those set in exotic or enchanting locations. Her debut novel, Tears of Chios, is an 18th century bildungsroman featuring a Greek boy struggling under the oppressive authority of the Ottoman Empire. Published in 2022, Tears of Chios is Book One in the author's Merchant Tides series. Scions of Smyrna, published in 2023, is Book Two in the Merchant Tides series. Ms. Bradley has been a pretzel maker, foreign language teacher, choir director, musician, librarian, food server, Duke cheerleader, genetics researcher, employee benefits lawyer, and legal treatise editor. Her favorite vocation, by far, however, is being a writer.
