Tears of Jupiter is the story of one woman's pilgrimage through Portugal and Spain on the sacred Camino de Santiago -- told through each footstep on her journey. In this endearing memoir, Shima honors the significance of looking back in order to move forward. In a foreign country, with nothing but a backpack and her thoughts, she walked nearly 500 kilometers in unyielding rain. This heart-searching solitude gave her a clear understanding of her Divine purpose and for Shima Shanti nothing was more profound.

Autorenporträt
Shima's life has followed a circuitous path, full of rich and varied experience that has touched her in unexpected ways: As a young adult in the tumultuous rock-n-roll 70s, a mother and wife of 44 years, and a successful executive in the corporate world. Her journey did not stop in her 60s. This author of five books has become a nationally recognized encaustic fine artist. She never planned to become an abstract impressionistic painter. However, years after moving to the coast of California, Shima felt an unrelenting desire to create. Her upbringing in big sky Montana forever connected her to Nature and Spirit and continues to be her guiding inspiration in life. Today, timeless hours of joy in the studio and the simple pleasure of being "Mom and Meema" balance the business demands and exhibition travel of her dynamic artist's career.
