Technical and vocational education training (TVET) is providing us with an increasing diversity of technical and theoretical approaches to the complex fabric of technology and society. It also contributes the Government's goal of sustainable economic growth and poverty reduction by improving the earning potential of the country's youth. The objective of the study was to assess the effect of variables such as learning and teaching process, availability of human and material resources, guidance and counseling, student' progress assessment and research activities,on the TVET quality improvement. To achieve this objective a mixed research design was employed. The findings depicted that the major variables had significant independent and combined influences on the quality of technical and vocational education and training. To this end, the study may contribute to the scholarly community such as TVET coordinator, curriculum developers, TVET students, TVET managers and the wider community at large.

He has a Bachelor of Education and Masters in Curriculum Studies and Instructional Skills. Currently, he is working as a lecture and head of the department of Curriculum and Methodology of Teaching at Adama Science and Technology University.His research interest is on the practices and challenges of TVET in Ethiopia.
