Efficient use of electrical energy includes all the technical and non-technical measures to reduce the electrical energy demand of an electrical distribution system. In the present research an assessment and minimization of technical energy loss in power distribution system of Messebo building production factory is carried out in detail with the help of simulation using ETAP5.0 software. The simulation result obtained shows that the maximum power loss of feeder cables, distribution transformers and power transformers and based on this simulation result the overall technical energy loss was assessed and compared to the standard energy loss in electrical power systems according to IEC2007, which is 3-5%.
