The progress made nowadays in the fields of endoscopy, imagery, mini-invasive laparoscopic surgery, the transanal approach, molecular biology, immunology, genetics, targeted therapy, and artificial intelligence should help reduce the incidence of colorectal cancers, through the resection of precancerous lesions. It should also decrease cancer mortality by means of early diagnosis and effective treatment without any deleterious side effects. Modern technology allows us to have great hope for better management of colorectal cancers.
