The successful practice of sericulture requires adoption of recommended sericulture technologies to get expected benefit of sericulture. The sericulturists have to use different technologies for mulberry cultivation and silkworm rearing. It was generally observed that all the recommended sericulture technologies were not adopted by the sericulturists. As such there is a gap in adoption. Therefore it was felt necessary to identify the gap in the specific technological factors and also efforts needs to be taken to bridge this gap.
