The Technological Institute of the Philippines or "TIP" is a private university in the Philippines which specializes in the traditional fields of engineering. The institute was established by a group of educators headed by Engr. Demetrio A. Quirino Jr. on February 8, 1962. At present, TIP has two branches in Metro Manila, TIP Manila and TIP Quezon City. Technological Institute of the Philippines was established in 1962 at the Lornzana Building in Quiapo, Manila.
