In so doing, Technological Issues in Broadcast Education illuminates the educational settings that have been created and enhanced by the emergence of new broadcast-related technologies as well as the impact of these technologies on the missions of broadcasting programs. GERARD DONNELLY is Associate Professor of Mass Communication, Northwest Missouri State University. He has been a radio station manager, broadcast administrator, and News Director in addition to his writing for scholarly journals. JOSEPH R. BLANEY is Assistant Professor of Communication at Illinois State University, Normal. Among his previous published volumes are The Clinton scandals and the Politics of Image Restoration (Praeger, 2001, with W. L. Benoit) and Campaign '96: A Functional Analysis of Acclaiming, Attacking, and Defending (Praeger, 1998, with W. L. Benit and P. M. Pier).
