For this, it is necessary to contextualize the role of the teacher in this teaching and learning process, pointing out possible methodologies involving digital technologies that can be used in presential and virtual environments. Using the historical and comparative method through qualitative and bibliographic research, the subject is relevant to the understanding of the main concept. In view of the research carried out, it is possible to state that the student is technological and has specific learning characteristics, with the teacher playing a key role in this teaching process using digital technologies. It was also observed that there are methodologies that facilitate learning using digital technologies, considering the protagonism of students and teachers in favor of teaching and learning.
