The monograph is devoted to the analysis, choice of rational methods and development of technology of mechanical processing of stakes and beam supports of connecting railway eight-axle tanks after cladding of their worn surfaces at the restoration repair. In particular, the following tasks were formulated and solved: - defects and wear areas of stud and thrust bearing surfaces have been investigated and analyzed; - the condition and structure of clad surfaces of studs and thrust bearings have been investigated; - a comparative analysis of efficiency of methods of mechanical processing of clad surfaces of studs and thrust bearings for restoration of their initial parameters in accuracy on universal and special equipment has been carried out.There are given recommendations on the choice of rational technological equipment and development of the technology of mechanical processing of stacks and thrust bearings during the restoration repair in the existing production conditions of car-repair plants. It is recommended by the Scientific and Technical Council of Tambov State Technical University.
