Currently, the development of effective oleogels and hydrogels in the world is one of the main solutions for solving problems in many fields. This is one of the most urgent problems in separating spilled oil products, and industrial wastewater from organic compounds, and cleaning water resources. Oil Spills - The accidental or intentional release of petroleum hydrocarbons into the environment, especially wastewater and marine ecosystems, can have catastrophic consequences. Spills of petroleum products into the water cause significant damage to the environment due to wind and current transport, as well as dispersion of dispersed oil vapors as a result of dissolution in water or sedimentation and accumulation in sediments. In addition, temperature, salinity, and tides also increase the rate of transport and dispersion of petroleum products. Therefore, great attention is being paid to the development of oligomeric sorbents with the property of collecting spilled oil products, as well as to the creation of their optimal composition and improvement of the mechanism of action.
