Nowadays, the concept and practice of ICT as a service has become essential in business transactions. Yet the majority of Egyptian governmental hospitals have not adopted that service optimally. Therefore, many of decision makers are still in doubt about purchasing it and resist its adoption. To fill this gap, this study developed a model for ICT service purchase intentions and, empirically, examined the factors affecting ICT purchase intentions in the healthcare sector. The study investigated 75 Egyptian governmental hospitals as a case example. The author built his expertise and knowledge from primary research collected through proprietary sources of data. He maintained ongoing communications with healthcare industry experts. Moreover, he worked directly with government sector players, and technology vendors to identify and prioritize ICT topics for deeper investigation. At the end of this book, the author focused on actionable recommendations and guidelines for healthcare decision makers and ICT vendors to penetrate, effectively, the Egyptian healthcare market.
