Tecumseh Elementary is a public elementary school in Vancouver, British Columbia part of School District 39 Vancouver.The school was named after Tecumseh, a leader of the Shawnee tribe. Tecumseh was built in 1910. The main building consists of three floors. A gymnasium is in a separate building. There are two portables which host three classes. There are 22 divisions from Grades K-7. Tecumseh Elementary School was built in 1910. Upgrades and expansion over many decades have improved the once small wooden building into an impressive brick building, a great learning environment.
