Edward "Ted" Pheasant (15 February 1877 17 July 1910) was an English footballer, who played in the Football League for both Black Country clubs, Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Bromwich Albion.Pheasant began his career at local non-league club Wednesbury Excelsior (which later became Wednesbury Old Athletic) before joining First Division Wolverhampton Wanderers in August 1895. He made his league debut on 19 September 1896 in a 3 4 loss at Derby, but had to wait until the 1898 99 season to become a first choice player.
