Theodore Edmund Savage, Jr., born as Ephesian Savage on February 21, 1936 in Venice, Illinois, was an outfielder in Major League Baseball who played from 1962-1971. Ted Savage played for eight teams in a nine-year major league career. His best season was 1970, when he posted a line of .279/.402/.482 in 276 at-bats for the 1970 Milwaukee Brewers. He had his most at-bats as a 26-year-old rookie with the 1962 Philadelphia Phillies, where he was the same age as Tony Taylor and Ruben Amaro.
