Autorenporträt
Karla (Wunderlin) Unke is the School Counselor at Whittier Elementary School in Clinton, Iowa. She has been the handler of her certified professional therapy dog, Teddy, for over twelve years. Teddy, who retired from school in May, 2015, was the longest working therapy dog in the Clinton Community School District. Over her twelve-and-a-half years as Teddy's handler, Karla utilized him in her work to his fullest potential. Karla lives with her husband, children, and Teddy in Clinton, Iowa.
