Teenage Trance is the name I have given to the mystical illness among young secondary school pupils in Cameroon. Causes of teenage trance yet to be revealed created tension not only between parents of trance victims but among family members as well. Accusations and counter accusations mounted as hospital laboratories, medical and traditional doctors could not provide adequate and effective remedies for trance victims. Parents and relatives of trance victims have continued to suspect individuals and even religious leaders, sects, cultic, and secret societies, rich and wealthy people in communities. Meanwhile it is difficult to dismiss or accept these accusations without tangible facts. However, through this qualitative interview research, hermeneutical phenomenological analysis, the author orientates his readers not only to understand teenage trance, but provides guidelines on how to handle the situation in an event of future occurrence. This book is aims at assisting parents, teachers, students, Christians and the clergy as an effective tool against teenage trance in Jesus' healing ministry.
