Autorenporträt
Born in Chengdu, China in 1962, Dr. Zhengmao Li is a professor and senior engineer, and is currently the vice president of China Mobile. He is former director of the National Key Laboratory at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, member of the Communication Technology Project panel in the China 863 Program, and one of the leadership teams for the 3rd Generation Mobile Communication Research Program organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the former Ministry of Information Industry. He also served as the deputy general manager of China Unicom, Board of Next Generation Mobile Network Alliance (NGMN), vice chairman of the China Information Technology Industry Federation, executive director of The Chinese Institute of Electronics, and a member of the Committee of Experts for China Next Generation Internet project. Further, he was vice president of the China Information Security Association, a member of the Global TD-LTE Initiative (GTI) Leadership Committee, and executive director of the China Communication Institute. Dr. Li was awarded "Outstanding Contribution Doctor" by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council and the State Education Committee; as well as the "Science & Technology Award for Chinese Youth" by the China Association for Science and Technology.
