Produktbeschreibung
The aim of this study was to briefly discuss teleworking in the context of labour law and the major transformations brought about by the technological process. It dealt with the issues inherent in remote working, making a brief comparison between teleworking and home working. In the first part, after a brief overview of the historical evolution of labour relations and technological advances in the area of information technology, the impact of the virtual era on labour relations is addressed. Secondly, reference is made to homeworking, as well as the types of teleworking, conceptualising and characterising each one, thus pointing out their main commonalities. Finally, the text closes by outlining the main aspects of the legal regulation of teleworking, which, although it is growing every day, still needs more attention from the Brazilian legislative and judicial system.
