Autorenporträt
Alison Hart identifies as a mixed-race Black, Irish, Scottish, English, and Passamaquoddy Native American woman of color. Award-winning and best-selling author Isabel Allende praised Alison's novel Mostly White as "So compelling, it gave me goosebumps." Alison is also the author of a poetry collection, Temp Words, from Cosmo Press, and her play Mother Daughter Dance was produced by A Black Box Theater in San Francisco. She is passionate about creating work that informs the reader about American history from the perspectives of marginalized and often forgotten voices. She is a writer, musician, mother, and music educator.
